Kenneth L. "Ken"  Wangberg
Kenneth L. Wangberg, 67, of Pembine, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2015, at his home.

He was born November 22, 1947, in Chicago, Ill. son of the late Raymond and Elsie (Lewandowski) Wangberg.

Ken grew up in Chicago and graduated from West Chicago High School, Class of 1966. He served in the United States Air Force, and after being honorably discharged, returned to Illinois. Ken married Donna Glass on June 6, 1987, in Harmony, Wis. He treasured his family and was always at every event they participated in, be it soccer, little league, volleyball, basketball, golf, or music concerts. Ken was very proud of the successful adults that both of his children had become. He was looking forward to the arrival of his first grandchild.

He was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Pembine. Ken enjoyed hunting, fishing, and target shooting, watching Packer football games and telling his favorite stories.

Ken is survived by his loving wife, of 28 years, Donna; one son, Lee Wangberg, Milwaukee; one daughter, Ashley (Adam) Prew, Fenton, Mich.; two brothers, Larry (Monika) Wangberg, Jacksonville, Fla. and Robert Wangberg, Wheaton, Ill.; one sister, Rae Anne (Carl) Meverdon, Beecher, Wis. and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, John and Audrey Glass.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 17, 2015, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain. The American Legion Post No. 461 of Pembine will accord Military Honors, 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home. A Celebration of Life Service will be Monday, 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Gene Wickman will officiate.
