Charlie was my mail carrier for many years when I lived on Balsam St in Kingsford. He was always friendly and my little girl looked forward to his arrival every day. Years after we moved and even after Charlie retired I would run into him in a store and we would chat. He would always ask how my daughter was and we would talk about the old neighborhood. Charlie, thanks for being a part of my life.
