John S. LaFave & Family
Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to attend the Memorial service tomorrow. But none the less, I will be reflecting on Jean and Family during the services tomorrow. So we will be there in Spirit.
Please offer my families condolences to Mark, Beth, and Tony; and let them know we are praying for them to find solace in all of our extended families wonderful memories of Jean.
I will always remember Jean as our little sister; being very happy, and smiling. She was always fun to be around, with kind words for everyone. Growing up, Jean helped cheer me up with her very cheerful personality. I also remember Jean as very adventurous; especially when she crashed her toboggan into the trees on a sledding trip up to the bluff. She lost control, and hit the trees hard, but her spirit was not broken. She had to go to the doctor since she bruised her kidneys; but she was back out sledding within two weeks. That was the Jean I knew and will always remember growing up.
I am very, very grateful for having Jean as our little sister; and my wonderful memories of her life.
Please pass along these memories, and give everyone our best tomorrow.
