Obituary for Jean M. Andrew (LaFave)

Jean M.  Andrew (LaFave)
Kingsford-Jean M. (LaFave)Andrew, 55, of Kingsford, Mich., passed away Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Froedtert Memorial Hospital, Wauwatosa, Wis. She was born April 21, 1961 in Escanaba, Mich., daughter of Ralph and Elizabeth LaFave.

Jean grew up and graduated from Gladstone High School, Class of 1979. On April 25, 1980, she was united in marriage to Mark Andrew.

Jean enjoyed vacationing and taking time off to enjoy life. She especially liked spending time with her grandchildren, family, friends and coworkers.

Jean is survived by her husband, Mark; one son, Anthony (Mami) Andrew, Okinawa, Japan; one daughter, Elizabeth “Beth” (Joseph) Querio, Iron Mountain, Mich.; her mother, Elizabeth “Betty” LaFave, Gladstone, Mich.; three brothers, Pete (Kim) LaFave, Gladstone, Mich., Scott LaFave, Arizona and James (Angel) LaFave, Schenectady, New York; three sisters, Debbie (Keith) Bengston, Gladstone, Mich., Joan (James) Bal, Rapid River, Mich. and Patty (Chuck) Deroin, Escanaba, Mich.; four grandchildren, Liam, Alisha, Mason and Lennon, and by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph LaFave.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 11, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain. Funeral Services will be held Friday, 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Fr. Joseph Gouin will officiate. Burial will be held in Gladstone.
