Condolence: Claudia,
My thoughts and prayers are with you as you continue to mourn your wonderful husband. Bob was a great guy and will be missed by all who knew him.
I felt especially close to Bob because he (twice!) visited me in the hospital when I was recovering from my broken neck injury--and I didn't think he even really knew me, since I had not been in the choir very long at that time. But he came to bring cheer when I really needed it, and I will never forget his thoughtfulness.
Bob will especially be missed by the members of the Christus Victor choir; we always looked forward to his return for the season and this year will be different.
God's peace to you and your family as you take comfort in knowing that Bob is with his Lord.
Blessings . . .
Joanne

Condolence: I really didn't know Bob but remember him for an act of kindness. When I attended Michigan State in the early 1970s I was trying to find a ride back to Iron Mountain and placed a note on the 'RIDE' board in the MSU Union Building. Bob happened to be in the Lansing area and had stopped at the Union and responded to my note. He gave me a ride home and shared many stories of his college days. He was a real gentleman. My condolences to his family.

Condolence: Doug, Having been a guest in your lovely home for parties, I recalled the warmth you and your family extended to a foreigner like this Kingsford native. Your Dad was famous for the same inclusiveness and I acknowledge the Rigoni genes which prevailed and fostered friendships. Deepest sympathy from Madison WI.

Condolence: I have known Bob since we moved to Naples
In 2008 and joined Christus Victor Lutheran Church.
We sang in the choir together in the tenor section. We always looked forward to his arrival from Michigan in early winter before Christmas to shore up the tenors.
He had a great voice as you know. We became good friends over the years and we liked to talk about our golf exploits. He had some good golf stories to tell. He really loved golf!
He will be greatly missed by me personally and by everyone at Christus Victor.
