Our thoughts and prayers have been with the family of Lorn and Magee, who will both be remembered by those of us whose lives they touched in so many different ways. Our community can be grateful for their ongoing dedication of community service for the good of others. They both dared to make a difference. Lorn and Magee will never be forgotten. What a fantastic community we would have if there were more people like Lorn and his life mate that gave of themselves and nudged others to do more. God be with his family. Keep the happy memories.
Orice and Harlan
So sorry for your lose. Dr. Johnson was so kind and always made me smile because he had a smile on his face. He was so kind and considerate. Your Dad was so nice to me when my Mom was sick and after when she passed. He will be missed. I send you my Love and Prayers.

We mourn the passing of your father and grandfather, a true gentleman and a very gentle man. But we rejoice knowing that he and your mother and grandmother are once again together, for they were a wonderful team!
I first met Lorn when he started practice, as he was my first optometrist. With his expertise, as a third-grader I learned you could see the individual leaves while still on a tree and didn’t have to wait until they fell to the ground.
I shared the cursillo weekend with Lorn, and, together with Steve Faust and others we continued our Christian walk over breakfast on Fridays for more than fifteen years. He certainly was a man of faith, ready to lend a helping hand to all.
A community leader of the highest caliber, Lorn generously gave his time and resources, together with Magee, to make our area a better place in which to live.
The friendship, support and encouragement I received over the years from both of them will never be forgotten. They both live in the lives of the hundreds of people they touched over the years. They indeed made a difference!
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Dr. Johnson. He was my first eye doctor since I was 4 years old. He always called me "Shelli Rae" and made me feel very special. He had a gentle soul. I will miss him...
