Niagara: Stella M. Bradtke age 100 of Niagara, Wisconsin died Friday September 19, 2003 at Evergreen Assisted Living in Kingsford, Michigan.
Stella was born on January 3, 1903 in Norway, Michigan daughter of the late Peter and Victoria (Pia) Kososki. She married Martin Bradtke who preceded her in death in September of 1969.
Stella was a devoted wife and mother. She spent her entire life, while able, waiting on and helping other people. She was known for being a wonderful and generous baker and cook from all who knew her. Stella celebrated her 100th birthday with a party at Evergreen with family and friends- receiving messages of congratulations from various parts of the country from all her children's friends who never forgot her kindness to them. Mom you are loved and in our hearts forever.
Stella is survived by, her two daughters Bernice Hildremyr of Niagara and Geraldine (Alex) Bresin of Tulsa, OK. One son Wallace (Jean) Bradtke of Winchester, TN. One brother Harry (Viola) Kososki of Moon Lake in Iron Mountain. Five grandchildren, Terry and Diane Bresin, Nancy (Lonnie) Todd, Debbie Cone and Jane lamb. Eight great grandchildren, two great great grandsons, along with a special niece Tami (Scott) Nelson and many other nieces and nephews.
Stella is preceded by one son in law Peter Hildremyr. Four brothers and two infant brothers. Also on sister.
Visitation will be Tuesday September 23, 2003 from 10-11AM at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Niagara, Wisconsin. St. Anthony's Council of Catholic Women will conduct a memorial services Tuesday at the church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday 11AM at St. Anthony's Church. Fr. Michael Betley will officiate. Burial will be in Niagara Cemetery.
