Obituary for Ronald E. Meyer
Ronald E. Meyer, 72, of Pembine, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at the Oscar G. Johnson Veteran’s Hospital, Iron Mountain.
He was born March 12, 1942, in Manitowoc, Wis. son of the late Clarence and Adeline (Yench) Meyer.
Ron grew up in Rockwood, Wis., and graduated from Lincoln High School in Manitowoc. He served in the United States Army and after being honorably discharged resided Green Bay, Wis. In 1990, he moved to his dream property in Beecher, Wis. on the Menominee River.
He owned and operated REMMER Computer Sales and Service in Green Bay from 1990 until 2000. Ron enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, feeding the animals, spending time with his family, friends and his pets Scout and Uno. His family will miss his creative stories and answering machine greetings.
Ron is survived by one son, Ron Meyer, Wausaukee, Wis.; two daughters, Nan (Jim) Thyssen, West De Pere Wis. and Tammy Meyer, Crivitz, Wis.; two brothers, Junior (Karen) Meyer, Mishicot, Wis. and Jim (Rose) Meyer, Two Rivers, Wis.; three sisters, Rory (Julius) LaRosa, Irvington, NY, Carol McManus, Milwaukee and Caron (Tom) Hessel, Francis Creek, Wis.; three grandchildren, Mitchell, Nicholas and Jacqueline and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Jack Meyer.
In accordance with Ron’s wishes a Memorial Service will be announced in the spring.
The family has chosen the Jacobs Funeral Home, Niagara Chapel to honor Ronald’s Legacy of Life.
