Obituary for Jeanette A. Yadro

Homestead:
Jeanette Amelia (Gremore) Yadro, 80, of Homestead, Wis., passed away peacefully at home Saturday, February 18, 2006; two weeks after her husband of 57 years died.
Jeanette was born January 16, 1926 at the Gremore Farm in Commonwealth, Wis. as the fourth of seven children of Edgar and Bessie (Betty Marie Larson) Gremore.
Jeanette graduated from Florence High School in 1943 and then was employed by Meunch Construction of Iron Mountain, Mich. After several years, she took a position as the head bookkeeper for Prosch Construction of Iron River, Mich. She then met Frank Yadro at a dance at Finn Town Hall during a weekend trip home. They married on November 4, 1948. The couple lived in Milwaukee, Wis., and raised three children.
Jeanette worked for 27 years at Yadro Chemical Company as the chief accountant where she was responsible for setting up one of the first computer systems of its kind. She was an accomplished baker, seamstress, enjoyed traveling, and visiting with family and friends, and all things to do with computers.
She is survived by two sisters, Berdine (Kenneth) Olson of Commonwealth, and Marcia (Howard) LePine of Florence, Wis; one daughter Jenell Wiegel of Aurora, Wis.; two sons, Ronald (Margie) Yadro of Spread Eagle, Wis. and Richard (Donna) Yadro of Homestead; former son-in-law Daniel Wiegel of Aurora; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Frank, Jeanette was also preceded in death by three brothers, Albert, John, and Carl Gremore, and one sister, Myrtle Freeberg.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate the life of this loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend at the Yadro Farm at 2581 Miller Road in Homestead on Sunday, February 26, from noon to 4:00 p.m.
