Spread Eagle-Stephani M. Benjamin, 75, of Spread Eagle, Wis., passed away Tuesday, November 08, 2016 at her home.

She was born August 14, 1941 in Howell, Mich., to the late Harold and Bernardine (Cowan) Eckenrod. She grew up in Howell and graduated from Howell High School. Stephani went on to attend college in Detroit where she received her Associates Degree in Accounting. On August 29, 1959, she was united in marriage to Lee Benjamin.

Stephani worked for M.J. Electric, Egizii Electric, Bechtel and Van Ert in accounting. She enjoyed cooking and spending time on the water.

Stephani is survived by her husband of 57 years, Lee; one son, Shawn, Roanoke, Virginia; one daughter, Kimberly (Jim) McClernon, Derwood, Maryland; one brother, Jim (Beth) Eckenrod of San Francisco; one sister, Ann (Jim) Osgood of Washigton and six grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Stephani was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Ashley and one great-granddaughter, Delaney Lirette

A visitation will be held Friday, November 11, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home, Florence. Funeral services will take place on Friday, at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Fr. Matt Settle will officiate.

A memorial will be established in her memory to the Dickinson County Cancer Closet, 201 E. Breitung Ave., Kingsford, MI 49802.
