Obituary for Richard W. Waskowiak

Richard W.  Waskowiak
Florence-Richard W. Waskowiak, 79, of Florence, Wisc., passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016 at his home. He was born August 24, 1936 in Pulaski, Wisc. to the late Walter and Estella (Ronski) Waskowiak. Richard attended and graduated Pulaski High School in 1954, where he helped build the Pulaski gym.

His hobbies included, his pets, gardening, carpentry for many years, playing cribbage, and going hunting and fishing.

Richard is survived by three daughters, Debra (Doug Lund) Kelsey, Diane (Chris Maki) Thomas, Donna (Gary Edwards) Schraufnagel; one son, Rick (Vickie) Waskowiak; one brother, Walter Waskowiak Jr.; brother-in-law, Jim Motiff; sister-in-law, Marie Nickiel; son-in-law, Jack D. (Cathie) Thomas; five grandchildren, Cory (Matt) Fuller, Jack E. (Sammy) Thomas, Jared Thomas, Stacy (Logan Parrott) Schraufnagel and Scott Schraufnagel; seven great-grandchildren, Olivia, Weston and Jaxsun Fuller, Cash Thomas, Mallory and Kaylee Lund and Christopher Maki; nieces and nephews; and by ex-wife, Jean McGregor.

He is preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Michael Anthony; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Don Steeno; sister, Barb Motiff and by nephew, Ken Steeno.

Visitation will take place at the Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home, Florence, on Friday, August 5, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. Pastoral Director Christine Gall will officiate.
