Florence-Wayne K. Siebert, 79, of Long Lake, Wisc., passed away Sunday, July 3, 2016 at Golden Living Center in Florence.

He was born October 28, 1936 in Downers Grove, Ill. son of the late Fred and Martha (Counselman) Siebert. Wayne grew up in Downers Grove. He married Dorothy Koran on November 9, 1963 in Westmont, Ill. They resided in Westmont and Wayne worked for Westmont Building Products until he retired in 1981. Upon retirement they moved to Long Lake, Wisc., where he worked for the Tipler Lumber Company as a forklift driver for a few years.

Wayne loved the outdoors and especially the time he spent with his wife, Dorothy, as they rarely missed watching a NASCAR race.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Dorothy; one daughter, Cherylann Siebert, St. Petersburg, Fla.; one brother, Fred (Clara) Siebert, Naperville, Ill.; two grandchildren, George and Jeremy; four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Wayne, was preceded in death by one brother, Ray Siebert and one sister, Margaret Ronaldson.

In accordance with Wayne’s wishes, private family services were held.
