Obituary for Clyde A. Tauriainen

Clyde A.  Tauriainen
Clyde A. Tauriainen, 65, of Quinnesec, Mich., passed away Friday, July 1, 2016 at his home.

He was born April 2, 1951 in Detroit, Mich., son of the late Albert and Edla (Lantto) Tauriainen. Clyde grew up in Iron Mountain, Mich. and graduated from Iron Mountain High School, Class of 1969. He married Debra Champeau on June 5, 2004 in Amberg, Wis. Clyde went to work for Ford Motor Company in Detroit for over 20 years. He moved back to Iron Mountain in 1989 and was employed by Martens Mfg. Company, Getco Company, Smeester Trucking, Packerland Packing of Green Bay, Wis. and PSI Security.

Clyde enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid deer hunter, loved camping and especially the time he spent with his family and friends. He cherished his grandchildren and the time he spent with them.

Clyde is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Debbie; one daughter, Jodi (Brian) Olson, Green Bay, Wisc.; one son, Matt (Kaitlin) Tauriainen, Green Bay, Wisc.; two step-sons, Robert (Niki) Sanders, Niagara, Wis. and Patrick Sanders, Niagara, Wisc.; one sister, Lori Brownell, Marshall, Mich.; seven grandchildren, Chase, Logan, Lauren, Grace, Adrianna, Dean and Mya; one nephew, Rob (Elizabeth) Brownell, Marshall, Mich.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2016, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. James Danielson will officiate. Burial will be held in Alston Cemetery, Alston, Mich..
