Obituary for Evelyn A. Jensen (Janus)
KINGSFORD, Mich. - Evelyn A. Jensen, 94, of Kingsford, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016, at Freeman’s Nursing Home, Kingsford.
She was born June 16, 1920, in Chicago, Ill. daughter of the late Stephen and Helen (Czia) Janus.
Evelyn grew up in Chicago and attended school there; she went on to attend Business School and worked in a business office as a secretary. She lived in California for many years. Evelyn enjoyed knitting and flower gardening.
She survived by one daughter, Sharon Moss of Dunbar; one sister, Virginia Bono of Kansas City, Kans. and two grandchildren, Hailey and Michael Moss.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph (Jenny) Janus and one son-in-law, Robert Moss.
In accordance with Evelyn’s wishes private family services will be held.
The family has chosen the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain to honor Evelyn’s Legacy of Life.
