Obituary for Nick S. Vicenzi
IRON MOUNTAIN, Mich. - Nick S. Vicenzi, 56, of Iron Mountain, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2016, at Manorcare Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Kingsford.
He was born September 16, 1959, in Green Bay, Wis. son of Douglas and Janice (Makie) Vicenzi.
Nick grew up in Green Bay; he later attended Northern Michigan University where he received his Associate Degree in Electronics. He lived in Colorado Springs, Colo. for a few years where he worked as a Television Repairman. Nick moved to Iron Mountain and worked for Gambles Hardware Store in Niagara, Sound North and Bergeron Motors. He then moved to Tempe, Ariz. where he repaired motorcycles at a sport shop and later worked for the Scottsdale Resort as their maintenance and repair person. In 2006, Nick moved back to Iron Mountain. He enjoyed biking and the outdoors.
He is survived by his mother, Janice (Buddy) Opsahl; one brother, Peter Vicenzi, Iron Mountain; one sister, Tina (David) Beaudoin, Kingsford; one nephew, David (Stephanie) Beaudoin II, Kingsford; two nieces, Nicole Vicenzi, Green Bay and Michelle Grailer, Iron Mountain; two great-nephews, Alec and Austin; one great-niece, Aubryna.
Nick was preceded in death by his father.
In accordance with Nick’s wishes private family services were held.
The family has chosen the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain to honor Nick’s Legacy of Life.
