Obituary for Linda L. Emery

Linda L.  Emery
Linda L. Emery, 68, of Florence, passed away Monday, January 25, 2016, at Dickinson County Healthcare System, Iron Mountain.

She was born July 2, 1947, in Marshalltown, Iowa, daughter of the late Dutch and Esther (Gray) Wilson.

Linda grew up in Rhodes, Iowa and graduated from West Marshall High School in State Center, Iowa. She resided in Charleston, S.C., Nevada, Iowa and later Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in September, 2012, she moved to Homestead, Wis. and in 2013, moved to Florence.

Linda enjoyed bingo, having lunch weekly and visiting with her family at Barb’s Café and always cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren.

She is survived by one son, Scott (Taunja) Emery, Homestead; one daughter, Kristin Pahl, Hiawatha, Iowa; one step-brother, Jerry Klosterman, Rhodes, Iowa; eleven grandchildren, one great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Jim Wilson.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 30, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Jacobs-Lundholm funeral home, Florence. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Walter Reichle will officiate.
