Obituary for Paula Jean Lilly

Paula Jean  Lilly
Paula J. Lilly, 65, of Kingsford, passed away Friday, January 15, 2016, at Manorcare Health Services, Kingsford.

She was born May 25, 1950, in Ypsilanti, Mich. daughter of the late Paul and Doris (Stockdale) Lilly.

Paula grew up and attended school in Wayne, Mich. She lived in Copper Harbor, Mich. for a few years before moving to Quinnesec, Mich. While in Quinnesec she lived with Melody Beres, at her group home for over 30 years. For the last two years she resided at the Pines Group Home in Kingsford. While living in Westland, Mich. she was a member of Fair Haven Baptist Church. Paula volunteered her time at both Trico Opportunities and Goodwill Industries.

She enjoyed singing Christian music, bowling and dining out at Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Paula is survived by two sisters, Kathy (Scot) Johnson, Wayne, Mich. and Karen (Sam) Mundy, Fla.; two nieces, Melissa (Jeff) Kibbe, Clinton Township and Nicole Thomason, Fla.; two nephews, Kristopher (Stephanie) Johnson, Westland and Paul Krause, S.C. and many great-nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at Fair Haven Baptist Church in Westland and will be announced at a later date.
