Obituary for Agnes Dickinson

Agnes  Dickinson
Agnes Dickinson, 95, of Norway, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2016, at Evergreen Meadows Assisted Living, Norway.

She was born October 27, 1920, in Durand, Mich. daughter of the late Joseph and Kathleen (Martish) Gurica.

At a young age she moved to Czechoslovakia and shortly after to Canada. Agnes married Elmer Legeret on October 20, 1942; he preceded her in death in November, 1989. They resided in Highland Park, Mich., Ferndale, Mich. and Palmetto, Fla. She then married Oliver Dickinson in 1990; he preceded her in death in April, 2008. While being married to Oliver they resided at the Villages in Florida.

Agnes has resided since 2011, at Evergreen Meadows. She enjoyed watching all sporting events on television and was an avid hockey fan.

She is survived by two sons, Terry (Judy) Legeret, Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Richard (Diane) Legeret, Iron Mountain; two brothers, Leonard (Donna) Mader and Urban (Anne) Mader, both of Canada; six grandchildren, Jeff (Deanna) Legeret, Wendy Legeret, Jennifer (Matt) Goulette, David (Sheri) Legeret, TJ (Kate) Legeretand Roger (Jeanette) Legeret; 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Agnes was preceded in death by three brothers, August, William and Frank Gurica.

In accordance with Agnes’s wishes a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
