Obituary for Sandra Jean Bonetti (Cesario)

Sandra Jean Bonetti (Cesario)
Sandra J. Bonetti, 72, of Iron Mountain, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at Marquette General Hospital, Marquette, Mich., surrounded by her loving family.

She was born October 5, 1942, in Iron Mountain, daughter of the late Charles and Jeanette (Olson) Cesario.

Sandy started her life in Peavy Falls, but grew up in Iron Mountain and Kingsford and graduated from Kingsford High School, Class of 1960. She and Gary Bonetti married on February 26, 1966, at Trinity United Methodist Church, Iron Mountain; parted only by his passing on September 15, 2002. They resided in Felch, Mich. for 36 years where they owned and operated Bonetti’s Bar, a family owned establishment for over 48 years. After her husband passed away, Sandy moved to Kingsford to be closer to her family where she greatly enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s events. Sandy’s sense of humor endeared her to her family, friends, her Hulst Manor crew and co-workers at Pine Mountain. She loved socializing and going to lunch, traveling to Nashville, Tenn. and trips to Mackinac Island.

Sandy is survived by one son, David (Jackie) Bonetti, Florence, Wis.; one daughter, Christine (Michael) McMahon, Kingsford; one brother, Don (Faye) Cesario, Green Bay, Wis.; one sister, Barbara (Jack) Raffin, Merriman; one sister-in-law, Shirley (Tom) DeRidder, Escanaba, Mich.; seven grandchildren, Chad (Tika), Dallas, Monica, Tylor, Brittany, Cassandra and Alex; five great-grandchildren, Maci, Aiden, Devin, Olivia and Liem; one niece, Kari; two nephews, Marc and Anthony; very special friends, Scott (Maureen) Bergeron, Iron Mountain; her crew at Hulst Manor and her many friends at Pine Mountain.

Visitation will be held, Tuesday, July 14, 2015, form 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. James Danielson will officiate. Private burial will be held at a later date.
