Obituary for Bethel N. Clements (Schultz)

Bethel N.  Clements (Schultz)
Bethel N. Clements, 89, of Florence, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015, at Golden Living Center, Florence.

She was born May 6, 1925, in Crystal Falls, Mich. daughter of the late Antone and Nora (McGrail) Schultz.

Bethel grew up in Tipler, Wis. and attended the Florence Schools. She married Walter Clements on February 4,1946; he preceded her in death in 2003. They resided in Gaastra, Mich. and later L’Anse, Mich. Bethel worked for F.W. Means in Caspian, Mich. for a few years. She relocated back to Florence in 2003, to be closer to her daughter.

She enjoyed bowling and cooking but especially loved to entertain her family and friends.

Bethel is survived by one son, Walter “Buck” (Dorreen) Clements, McKinney, Tex.; two daughters, June Pauliot, Florence and Sherry (John) Baker, Cape Coral, Fla.; ten grandchildren; twenty seven great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband Walter, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Robert Pauliot; two sisters, Mabel Clements and Theresa Schuls and two nieces, Norine Deal and Caroline Schuls.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 28, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Florence. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 11:00 a.m. at the church. Rev. Fr. Raymond Valerio will officiate. Burial will be in Stambaugh Cemetery, Stambaugh, Michigan.

The family has chosen the Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home, Florence to honor Bethel’s Legacy of Life.
