Obituary for Mary Jane Haubenstricker

Mary Jane  Haubenstricker
Mary Jane Haubenstricker, 71, of Crystal Falls, passed away Monday, February 9, 2015, at Northstar Health Services, Iron River, Mich.

She was born October 4, 1943, in Capac, Mich., daughter of the late Erwin and Lillian (Korthals) Stoldt.

Mary Jane grew up in Munger, Mich. and graduated from Bay City Central High School, Class of 1961. She married Allen Haubenstricker on September 19, 1964, in Munger. Mary Jane was an avid Detroit Tigers Fan.

She is survived by her loving husband, Allen, of 50 years; one son, Fred A. (Valerie L.) Haubenstricker; two daughters, Robin L. (Gerald Verellen) Dean and Rebecca S. Meyer; one brother, Erwin Stoldt and six grandchildren, Drew and Maureen Dean, Gabrielle and Melyssa Haubenstricker, and Johnathon and Kirsten Meyer.

In accordance with Mary Jane’s wishes a private memorial will be held at a later date.

The family has chosen the Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home, Crystal Falls to honor Mary Jane’s Legacy of Life.
