Obituary for Marguerite "Marge" Rosengren (Michek)
Crystal Falls, Michigan:
Marguerite (Marge) Rosengren, 92, of Crystal Falls, passed away, Friday, January 16, 2015, after a short stay, at Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls.
She was born November 2, 1922, in Phillips, Wis., daughter of the late William and Lillian (Muelling) Michek.
Marge grew up and received her education in Phillips. She relocated to Minocqua Wis., and then moved to Chicago, Ill., for employment. Marge married Orie Rosengren on January 27, 1945, in Chicago Ill.; he preceded her in death in 1990. After 1 year of marriage, they moved to Crystal Falls, and they also lived in Pontiac, Gilbert Lake, Amasa and finally returned back to Crystal Falls.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed caring for her flower garden in the Tobin Location, then later planting and tending the flowers at Pleasant Valley. Marge also enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles and going out to eat at Fobs in Crystal Falls.
Marge is survived by one son, Ronald (Diane) Rosengren, Zephyrhills Fla.; one sister, Loraine Caslin, Oakbrook Terrace Ill. and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband Orie, she was preceded in death by six brothers and one sister.
Graveside Services will be held Monday, July 6, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Crystal Falls.
The family has chosen the Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home, Crystal Falls to honor Marge’s Legacy of Life.
