Obituary for Patrick J. Printz

Patrick J.  Printz
Patrick J. Printz, 77, of Florence, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at his home.

He was born November 18, 1937, in Milwaukee, Wis. son of the late Patrick M. and Rena (Hollands) Printz.

Patrick grew up and attended school in Florence. He served our country in the United States Navy and upon being honorably discharged, resided in Boston where he attended Northeastern University and Coyne Electrical School. Patrick received his Bachelor Degree in Science and Electrical Engineering. While living in Boston he owned and operated a car rental business until he moved back to Florence in 1995. Patrick operated an automobile repair business in Florence and Pat’s Western Pub and Grill. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Florence.

He loved his garage and working and visiting with all the people. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, raising plants and spending time with his dog BJ.

Patrick is survived by three sons, Eric (April) Printz, Milwaukee, Wis., Robert (Jennifer) Printz, Nashua, N.H., and Patrick (Heather) Printz, Mass.; two daughters, Denise Printz, Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Canada and Jacqueline Nowe, Bridgewater, Nova Scotia; two brothers, Robert (Chris) Printz, Iron Mountain and Richard Printz, Florence; one sister, Elizabeth Bock, Aurora, Wis., ten grandchildren; one great-grandson, William James; one great-granddaughter, Kaydence and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Ann Printz.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 20, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home, Florence. The Florence VFW Post No. 3635 will conduct services Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Prayers will follow at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Florence. Rev. Fr. Matt Settle will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Commonwealth, Wis. in the spring.

The family has chosen the Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home, Florence to honor Patrick’s Legacy of Life.
