Gwendolyn R. Kallmann, 71, of Florence, Wis. passed away Monday, December 1, 2014, at Bellin Hospital, Green Bay.

She was born September 28, 1943, in Wayne, Wis., daughter of the late George and Helen (Funk) Coulter.

Gwen graduated from Mayville High School in Wisconsin. She married Richard Kallmann on June 13, 1964, in Theresa, Wis. They lived in Milwaukee for five years before moving to Florence in 1969. Gwen worked for Florence Motor Sales as a full-time bookkeeper from 1970 until 2005. She continued to work part-time at Florence Motors until 2014. Gwen enjoyed her job, her fellow employees and the customers.

She was a member of George Young Golf Complex and enjoyed playing in the women’s league. Gwen enjoyed reading and was a member of the North Woods Readers Book Club. She was a great cook and was known for her lasagna and breaded pork chops.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Richard; one son, David (Kelly) Kallmann, Greendale, Wis., her mother-in-law, Virginia Kallmann, Milwaukee, Wis.; two brothers, John (Patricia) Coulter, Kewaskum, Wis. and Neal Coulter, Theresa, Wis.; two sisters, Betty (Edward) Quandt, Lomira, Wis., and Paulette (Edgar) Zeitler, Guam; three grandchildren, Allison, Megan and Elizabeth; three step-grandchildren, Michael, Alyssa and Mathew Edwards, two brothers-in-law, Myron Lamers who Gwen loved and called Dad of Lomira, Wis. and James Ruecker, Theresa, Wis. and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Gwen was preceded in death by two brothers, Glenn and Keith Coulter; three sisters, Marguerite Lamers, Enida Roth and Sandra Ruecker.

Visitation will be Friday, December 5, 2014, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home, Florence. Funeral Services will be held Friday, 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Doug Johnson and Chris Gall, Pastoral Director of St. Mary Catholic Church, Florence, will concelebrate.

Memorials can be made to the Florence Public Library in Gwen’s memory.

The family has chosen the Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home, Florence to honor Gwen’s Legacy of Life.
