Vivian Budzak Miller Honkala, 96, of Crystal Falls, passed away, Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls.

She was born March 2, 1917, in Commonwealth, Wis., daughter of the late Frank and Ida (Youngell) Budzak. Vivian went to Stambaugh High School and graduated with the Class of 1935.

Vivian married Joseph A. Miller and he preceded her in death on October 1, 1955. In December, 1957 she married Emil Honkala. He preceded her in death on June 24, 1982.

Survivors include, two daughters, Elaine (Louis) Kudwa, Crystal Falls, Joanne (Bob) Cailotto, Iron River; two sons, Jim (Sandy) Miller, Grand Haven, Michael (Carolyn) Miller, Stephenson; 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Lowell (Helen) Budzak, Roseburg, Ore.; one sister-in-law, Marilyn Budzak, Iron River; nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husbands, Vivian was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Steve Dennis, two sisters, Emily Johnson, Gladys Budzak, and a brother, Joel Budzak.

The visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at the Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home, Crystal Falls. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Crystal Falls. Rev. Jeffrey Kurtz will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Crystal Falls.
