Zoey Claire Williams, infant daughter of Thomas and Kristina (Zahorik) Williams, was born into the arms of God on Tuesday, March 6th, 2012, at the Dickinson Memorial Hospital in Iron Mountain, Michigan. The name Zoey means "Life". Zoey Claire with angel wings, a soaring butterfly because even though she's gone now, they'll never truly part. She will continue to live in the hearts of her family and friends. Zoey is survived by her parents, Thomas and Kristina Williams, Florence; grandparents, Alan and Mary Kay Williams, Florence; Dwaine and Dianna Zahorik, Aurora, Wis.; great-grandmother, Eileen Williams, Vulcan, Mich.; aunts, Kary (Jeff) Nicholas, Livonia, Mich., Carlene Zahorik, Florence; uncles, Scott (Margo Wisniewski) Zahorik, Aurora, Lyle (Barb) Merrill, Channing, Mich.; cousins, Seth and Kati Merrill, Jacob and Rebecca Hedmark, Jeffrey, Collin and Marin Nicholas, Beth (Greg) and Eris Jackson; and many great-aunts, great-uncles and extended family. Also surviving are her honorary God parents Michael Gatzow and Carlene Zahorik; special friend, Gayla (Auntie Lala) Crago and special pet, Roofus Albert. She was preceded in death by her aunt, Carrie Merrill; great-grandparents Robert Williams, Robert and Claire Landry, George and Dora Zahorik, and Maynard and Leona Schabel. Visitation will be Saturday, March 31, 2012, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home, Florence. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. David Anderson and Parish Director Christine Gall will officiate.
