Florence, Wisconsin:

William T. Pestor, Jr., 30, of Florence, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at his home in Florence.

He was born September 11, 1985, in Waukesha, Wis., son of William and Kay (Larsen) Pestor, Sr.

William grew up in Eagle, Wis. and at age twelve, moved to Florence where he graduated from Florence High School, Class of 2004.

He received his welding certificate from the Dickinson Iron Technical Center in Kingsford. William worked for Boss Snow Plow and Systems Control until 2014. He then went to work for Ed Neuens Sanitation and Excavating Company where he was currently employed.

William was an active member of the Florence Volunteer Fire Department. He was a very talented mechanic and enjoyed fishing, hunting birds, cutting fire wood, four-wheeling. William was an avid Packers fan and enjoyed a good game of Smear. He could always be found lending a helping hand to the people of Florence.

William was proud of his community and loved having fun with his family and friends.

He is survived by his parents, William and Kay Pestor Sr., Florence; one brother, Thomas (Anne) Pestor, Spread Eagle, Wis.; his girlfriend, Stephanie Dennocenzo; his paternal grandfather, William "Gene" Pestor, Marion, Wis.; maternal grandmother, Donna Larsen, Gillett, Wis.; one uncle, Eric (Angie) Larsen, Neenah-Menasha, Wis.; three aunts, Dawn (Bill) Traynor, West Allis, Wis., Janet (Donald) Mich, Rolla, Mo., Debbie (Gene) Zergoski, Big Bend, Wis.; seven cousins, Gerrette (April), Dean (Amanda), Natalie, Matt (Kayla), Sam (Jace), Heather and Holly (Pat).

William was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Betty Peters and his maternal grandfather, Leon Larsen.

Visitation will be held Saturday, November 14, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Florence. The Funeral Service will be Saturday, 12:00 p.m. at the church. Rev. Doug Johnson will officiate. Burial will be held in Commonwealth Cemetery, Commonwealth. The Florence Volunteer Fire Department will accord memorial honors.
