Crystal Falls:
William J. Marinello, age 81, formerly of Crystal Falls, passed away August 14, 2003, in Grass Valley, California.
Mr. Marinello was born November 5, 1922, in Stambaugh, Michigan, the son of Amadeo and Rose Datres Marinello. He married Marie Girolimon November 5, 1946, in Crystal Falls, MI. He served in the U.S. Army from 1943-1946. He was an owner-operator of retail stores, including Ben Franklin stores in Michigan and Southern California from 1947-1971. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Optimist Club.
He enjoyed duplicate bridge and golf.
He is survived by his wife Norma, of Grass Valley, CA, a sister Janice Lundin of Florida, daughters; Deborah McEuen of Clayton and Billie Jean Plummer of Shelton, WA, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 17, 2004, from 10:00 to 10:30a.m. at the Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Crystal Falls. A Memorial Service will be held following the visitation. Fr. Dino Silvestrini will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
