Crystal Falls:
William J. Malauskas, age 92, of Crystal Falls, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2005, at Iron County Community Hospital in Iron River, Michigan.
He was born in Chicago, Illinois, November 21, 1912, the son of the late John and Elizabeth (Marcinkovich) Malauskas. He was in the US Army during WWII. He was employed by Western Electric as an inspector. He married Nettie Solduczyk and they
resided in Chicago. William was a member of the River Grove VFW. He enjoyed gardening and photography.
Survivors include his wife Nettie, a son William P. (Norma) Malauskas of Three Lakes, WI, one brother Frank (Violet) Malauskas of Downers Grove, Illinois one granddaughter Christine (Cole) Renken and one great-grandson Ethan.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by five brothers Alex, John, Joe, Jerry and Raymond and two sisters Jenny and Mary.
Visitation will be Friday, January 28, 2005, from 3 – 9 p.m. at Glueckert Funeral Home in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 29, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Alphonses Church in Prospect Heights, Illinois. Fr. Robert Hines will officiate. Entombment will be in All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, Illinois.
