William "Bill" D. Luker, 61, of Beecher, Wis., passed away Monday, July 28, 2014, at his home.
He was born July 17, 1953, in Oshkosh, Wis., son of the late Walter and Ruth (Davis) Luker.
Bill grew up in Oshkosh and worked for Mercury Marine in Fondulac, Wis. He married Vicki Deising on October 15, 1991, in Oshkosh. In 2000, they moved to Pembine and Bill managed the bar at the Four Season's Resort. He was an avid deer hunter, baseball player and overall sportsman. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved spending time training his many dogs. Bill enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed by many.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki; two daughters, Michelle Stacey, Milwaukee, Wis. and Billie Jo (Greg) Kunesh, Greendale, Wis.; two sons, Shaun Luker, Silver Cliff, Wis. and Michael Luker, Pembine; one step-son, Terry Schroeder, Appleton, Wis.; one step-daughter, Melissa Schroeder, Oshkosh; one sister, Shirley (Eugene) Reinke, Ripon, Wis.; seven grandchildren, Ashley, Brittany, Cole (Michelle), Cherish, Regan (Billie Jo) Tyler, Liz (Terry) and one great-granddaughter, Rylie (Ashley).
Visitation will be held Saturday, August 9, 2014, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the First English Lutheran Church. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, 2:00 p.m. at the church. Pastor Timothy Greenwald will officiate.
