William "Bud" Humphry, 87, of Kingsford, Mich., passed away Thursday, July 22, 2010, at the Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls, Mich.
He was born May 28, 1923, in Iron Mountain, Mich., son of the late William A. and Charlotte (Tennerman) Humphry. His wife Peggy preceded him in death. He served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II, from 1942 until 1945.
William worked many years in the Kenosha area on the assembly line for Chrysler. After retirement, he moved to Texas and later to Kingsford. William enjoyed golfing, fishing, and especially spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and friends.
William was preceded in death by one brother, Frank W. Anderson; two sisters, Waive Inglese and Muriel Isaacson.
