William B. Flynn, 83, of Crystal Falls, passed away Monday, March 14, 2011, at his home. He was born on April 13, 1927, in Detroit, Mich., son of the late Wesley and Helen (McNerny) Flynn. On April 16, 1955, he married Catherine Clark in Chicago, Ill. She preceded him in death on October 13, 2005. Bill was a retired salesman for a tool and die manufacturing company. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War having served in the United States Navy. Survivors include two daughters, Susan (Ronald) Brandt, Hanover Park, Ill., Patricia Flynn, Crystal Falls; one son, Michael (Rosita) Flynn, Chicago; six grandchildren, Rachel Rodriquez, Becky Rodriquez, Rene' Flynn, Melissa Flynn, Erik Flynn, Brien Flynn; two great-grandchildren, Isaiah Flynn and Chance Forshey. Besides his parents and wife, Bill was preceded in death by one brother, Don Flynn; a granddaughter, Katelyn Brandt; and a grandson, Christopher Kerr. Private family services are being held.
