Spread Eagle- Wayne J. Kletschka, 89, of Spread Eagle, Wis., passed away Sunday, December 29, 2019, at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, Milwaukee, Wis.
He was born April 10, 1930, in Dunbar, Wis., son of the late John and Amy (Spade) Kletschka. Wayne was a lifetime resident of Spread Eagle. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Wayne owned and operated Wayne's Septic Sewer and Drain Service for over 50 years. He was united in marriage to Esther Cover on December 18, 1956.
Wayne enjoyed building and restoring classic cars and collecting antiques. He was known for his strong work ethic and sense of humor. Wayne enjoyed having his kids and grandchildren ride along on his jobs. Most of all he enjoyed having his family all together.
Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Esther; Children, Tina (Ray) Kletschka, Dana (Bill) Kletschka, Tim (Kymba) Kletschka, Vanessa (Rocky) Kerr, Lita (Dan) Knox; one brother, Llewellyn (Mary) Gollakner; grandchildren, Devin Spencer, Kerri (Matt) Gummin, Tara Barbian, Johnny Kletschka, Nikki Kletschka, Theresa (Scott) Samsa, Sara (Tom) Schaefer, and Jeffrey Cornelius; seven great-grandchildren, Makayla, Trinity, Dexter, Kenzi, Mason, Emily and Jacob.
In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey Kletschka, brothers, Delbert and Sonny "Charles" Gollakner; and sisters, Mary Gollakner and Phyllis Kletschka.
A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, January 1, 2020, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Tavern on Central, Florence, Wis.
