Vulcan – Wayne D. Dabb, 79, of Vulcan, Mich., passed away on Monday, July 1, 2024, at Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson, Iron Mountain, Mich.

He was born on September 10, 1944, in Iron Mountain, Mich., to the late Edward and Elsa (Forstrom) Dabb. He was a graduate of Kingsford High School. He married Jennie Wiersma on October 19, 1974, in Kingsford, Mich., at First Presbyterian Church.

He enjoyed coaching little league, and volunteering to video tape various sporting events for Norway Schools. Driving a charter bus for a number of years was his favorite profession throughout his working career. He was known for making the best of everything.

He is survived by his wife, Jennie Dabb; sons, Scott (Krysta) Dabb, Douglas Dabb, and Brian Dabb; daughter, Tracey (Wayne Dolatowski) Dabb; brother, Donald (Rose) Dabb; sister, Nancy Hulce; and eight grandchildren, Bobbi Lee, Douglas, Jr., Emily, Carter, Miranda, Jada, Ellen, and Addalyn.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Alan Dabb; brothers-in-law, Ronald Hulce, and Robert Wiersma; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Linda Wiersma; and nieces, Rebecca Harms, and Allie Meyer.
