Iron Mountain-Walter C. Parsons, 95, of Iron Mountain, Mich., passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls, Mich. He was born on August 31, 1921 in Danvers, Mass., son of the late Archibald and Orpah (Thistle) Parsons. Walter married Marilyn Norris on February 14, 2001 in Franklin, Tenn. He worked as a self-employed carpenter out east for many years before retiring. Walter was an avid reader of the Bible. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn of Iron Mountain; one daughter, Cynthia Gallant, Farmington, Maine. In accordance with Walter's wishes private family services were held.
