Wallace "Wally" E. Bergman, Jr. 54, of Kingsford, Mich., passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2011, at Dickinson County Healthcare System, Iron Mountain. He was born March 24, 1957, in Iron Mountain, son of Winifred "Winnie" (Marrow) Bergman and the late Wallace E. Bergman, Sr. Wally grew up in Kingsford and graduated from Kingsford High School in 1975. After high school, Wally went to work for Custom Heat Treat where he worked for a couple of years before going to work for Customer Metal Fabrication Company. While at Metal Fabrication, he worked as a torch table operator for over 30 years. Wally enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching the Green Bay Packers, going to camp and will ever be known for his great sense of humor and his storytelling. He will be missed by his many friends and family. Wally is survived by his mother, Winnie Bergman, Kingsford; two sons, Donovan (Melanee Lusardi) Bergman, Kingsford, David Bergman, Iron Mountain; one daughter, Amy Bergman, Chicago, Ill.; one brother Robert "Bob" (Christine Bourassa) Bergman, Kingsford; three sisters Kathy Conard, Kingsford, Barbara (Gary) Kirtley, Aurora, Wis., Ruth (Steve) Broullire, Florida; five grandchildren, Akasha, Donovan, Jr., Devin, Nevaya, Layla; and a very special friend, Tim Rice, Aurora.
