Kingsford- Vivian Dahlen Goodreau, age 96, of Kingsford, Mich., passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at Evergreen Memory Care. Kingsford, Mich.

She was born April 7, 1928, in Evanston, Ill, the daughter of the late Hildur Ekberg. Vivian grew up and attended school in Iron Mountain, graduating from Iron Mountain High School in 1946. After graduation, she was employed at Michigan Bell Telephone Company and AT&T, retiring after 23 years.

Vivian married Paul Goodreau on August 20, 1949, and they would have celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary in August. Once Vivian retired, she and Paul spent 38 years wintering in Sun City, Arizona.

Survivors include her loving husband, Paul Goodreau; two sons, Mike (Patti) Goodreau and Stephen (Pam) Goodreau; five grandchildren, Chris, Ryan, Benjamin, Megan, and Andrew; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 24, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain, Mich.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Breen Senior Center, 244 Parkway Street, Kingsford, Mich., 49802, in Vivian's memory.
