Virginia "Ginny" L. Mohr- Dollar, 63, of Florence, Wis., passed away Monday, April 21, 2014, at the Golden Living Center, Florence. She was born September 27, 1950, in Crandon, Wis., daughter of Lillian (Wilber) Mohr. Ginny grew up in Laona, Wis., and at the age of 14, moved to Florence and attended school there. She married Anthony Dollar in Niagara on September 21, 1998. Ginny worked for 20 years in Milwaukee as a nurse's aide and later at the Golden Living Center. She was an avid Packers fan, enjoyed knitting, visiting with friends and loved her cat, Nala. Ginny is survived by her husband, Tony; one son, Robert Miller, Aurora, Wis; one daughter, Lana Miller, Iron Mountain; three brothers, Frank (Judy) Mohr, Laona, Wis., Matthew (Ruth Ann) Mohr, Pembine, Wis. and Mark (Arlene) Mohr, Niagara, Wis.; one sister, Peggy (Ted) Hetzer, Crystal Falls, Mich.; one sister-in-law, Brenda Mohr; three granddaughters, Valerie , Victoria and Cheyeanne; three great-grandchildren, Kayelyn , Ayeva and Damon, many nieces and nephews and many great and great-great nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother, Lillian, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Mike Mohr and Charlie Mohr and nephews, David Mohr and Chas Hetzer. Visitation will be Saturday, April 26, 2014, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home, Florence. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Doug Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Commonwealth Cemetery.
