Niagara- Virginia F. Barber, 92, of Niagara, Wis., passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Maryhill Manor, Niagara, Wis.

She was born July 2, 1929, in Milwaukee, Wis., daughter of the late Charles and Leona (Roberts) Christiansen. Virginia grew up and attended school in Milwaukee. She married Robert Barber on July 16, 1949, in the United Methodist Church, West Allis, Wis. They resided in West Allis until Bob retired and then moved to Pearson, Wis. He preceded her in death on December 5, 2002. Virginia moved to Niagara in 2005. She was an active member of Riverside United Methodist Church in Niagara and Creaton-Tutas American Legion Auxiliary Post #136 in Niagara.

Virginia did beautiful work with ceramics and was known for her Santa's from around the world.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda (Ronald) Sielaff, Iron Mountain, Mich., and Peggy (John) Klenovich, Niagara, Wis.; five grandchildren, Tammy (Sam) Bilski, Robert (Amanda) Sielaff, Jerrid (Stefani) Sielaff, John Robert Meister, and Nicholas (Erica) Meister; six great-grandchildren, Devon, Jake, Aili, Kat, Hailey, and Aaron; one great-great-grandson, Clayton; and special nieces and nephews, Freda, Judi, Cliff, Brad, and Terry.

In addition to her parents and husband, Robert, Virginia was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Christiansen.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 19, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Riverside United Methodist Church, Niagara, Wis. The funeral service will be Saturday, 2:00 p.m., at the church. Pastor Linda Pliska will officiate. Burial will take place in Niagara Cemetery, Niagara, Wis.
