Florence: Viola M. McNabb age 94 of Florence, Wisconsin died Friday December 24, 2004 at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Iron Mountain. Viola was born on October 31, 1910 in Florence, Wisconsin daughter of the late Amede and Lydia (Christesen) Trudell. Viola was raised in Florence and attended school there. She later went on to attend Teachers College. Viola went on to teach school in Florence County for a few years. Viola married Robert McNabb in 1961. They resided in Lower Michigan briefly before moving back to Florence. While in Lower Michigan she also worked as a bookkeeper for both a real estate office and rental property company. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Florence. Viola enjoyed gardening, bird watching, the deer, and all that nature had to offer. She is survived by her husband Robert. Two sons, Fred (Kathy) Ashcraft and John (Mary) Ashcraft all of Lower Michigan. Four brothers, Phillip (Marge) Trudell, Robert Trudell, Elton (Barbara) Trudell all of Lower Michigan and Edmond (Doris Trudell of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. One sister Lillian Hansen of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Seven grandchildren, many great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Viola is preceded by, one daughter in law. One brother Maurice Trudell and one sister Gladys. Visitation will be Wednesday December 29, 2004 from 5-7p.m. at the Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home in Florence, Wisconsin. Funeral services will be Wednesday 7p.m. at the Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home. Pastor Doug Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Florence, Wisconsin.
