Quinnesec – Victor Joseph Oratch, Jr., of Quinnesec, MI, affectionally known as "Gramps" passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026, at the age of 79.

He was born on November 22, 1946, in Benoit, WI, to the late Victor J. Sr., and Mary (Zumer) Oratch.

He married Joanne Lee Bluse on June 10,1972 in Saxon, WI.

Gramps was a lover of good conversation, a strong cup of coffee, and most of all his family. He never let an opportunity go by to remind them how much he loved them.

He is survived by his wife, Joanne; children, Kirsten Wolff of Quinnesec, Jamie (Kerri) Oratch of Niagara, WI; grandchildren, Jayson (Sara) Oratch, Jacob Oratch, Benjamin (Ruby) Oratch, Jessica (Anthony) Hansen, Cole Wolff, Grace Wolff, and Samantha Oratch; great-grandchildren, Noah, Henry, and Bennett (who will be arriving/born in a few weeks); sisters, Josie Tody, Barb Ottman, Mary Oratch, Rita Balkovich, and Vicki Hagan; sisters-in-law, Rae Ann Brotz, Suzanne Flateau, and Cheryl (Paul) Gulan; and numerous nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Betty, Louise, and Fran; and sister-in-law, Dianne Hanson.

Per Vic's wishes, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
