Obituary

Victor M. Bucaro, 62, of Gooman, Wis., passed away Sunday, October 26, 2008, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital, Iron Mountain. He was born June 27, 1946, in Chicago, Ill., son of the late Andrew and Mildred (Walinski) Bucaro. He served in the United States Army from 1965-1967. Victor lived in Chicago and operated several gas stations there until moving to Goodman in 1993. Victor is survived by his daughter, Kit (Ernesto) Ochoa, two grandchildren, Ryan Sparks, Alicia Ochoa; one great-grandson, Jake Sparks; three sisters, Barbra (Fred) Sabine, Judy Hoglund, Linda (Gordon) Staiger; dear friends, Bob and Linda Trey, Dave and Susan Pratt; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister, Angie (Don) Rader, and his very dear companion, Diane Hoffman. Visitation will be Thursday, November 6, 2008, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Goodman, Wis. The memorial service will be Thursday, 11:00 a.m. at the church. Fr. David Schmidt will officiate. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Goodman.
