Victor "Vic" F. Badini, 96, of Elmwood Park, Ill., formerly of Iron Mountain, Mich., passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 3, 2023.

He was the loving father of Helen (Raymond) Taraszka, Barbara Carroll, Daniel Badini, and Victoria Badini; cherished grandfather to Scott (Amber) Taraszka, Sara Taraszka, Sabrina (Daniel) Stantz, Shawn Taraszka, Shelley Carroll, Justin Carroll, Abby (Paul) Johnson, Kerry Badini, and Joe Badini; proud great grandfather of Ashley, Cody, Tyler, Kylie, and Kayce; brother to Barbara Stark, Rosemary LeClaire, Virginia Lauren, Tresa Armbruster, Joann Seymour; and a friend to many.

He is preceded in death by his first wife Laverne, his second wife Donna, his brother Ron, and sisters Gloria and Marcella.

Vic will be remembered as someone who was very well organized, a loving and devoted family-man, proud U.S. Veteran of the Navy in World War II, and a connoisseur of a good brandy nightcap.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 13, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain, Mich. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Fr. Quinn Mann will officiate. Burial will take place in Cemetery Park, Iron Mountain, Mich.
