Timothy Paul St. John, 49, of Channing, Mich., passed away Monday, May 25, 2009, at Marquette General Hospital, Marquette, Mich.
He was born April 23, 1960, in Norway, Mich., son of Wallace St. John and the late Joan (Nelson) Rose. Tim was raised in Iron Mountain, Caspian, Mich., and Aurora, Wis. He graduated from West Iron County High School, Iron River, Mich., Class of 1979.
Tim enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, and most of all spending quality time with his dog, Blue. He also enjoyed playing cards with his family and friends. Tim was a hard worker and a man you could count on. In the last year, Tim enjoyed spending time with his girlfriend, Jeannie.
He is survived by his father, Wallace (Phyllis) St. John; step-father, Gerald Rose; one brother, Randall (Pat) St. John; four sisters, Bernice St. John, Julie (Larry) Hall, Tina St. John, Carole (Leon) Waitrovich; his girlfriend, Jeannie Crandall; 14 step-brothers and step-sisters; many special nieces, nephews, and friends.
Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Joan, and a sister, Debbie St. John.
The Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain, is serving the family.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 28, 2009, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Kingsford, Mich. Rev. Michael Woempner and Rev. David Anderson will concelebrate. Burial will be in Breitung Township Cemetery, Quinnesec, Mich.
