Obituary

Aurora: Thomas "Jack" Raymond, age 62, of Aurora, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2005, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, Wisconsin. He was born November 5, 1942, in Iron Mountain, the son of the late Thomas and Josephine (Benso) Raymond Sr. He attended Kingsford High School and graduated in 1960. On July 11, 1964, he married Sandra Davis at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Iron Mountain. Jack owned Tom & Jo's Bar in Aurora for ten years and then operated and owned Tom & Jo's Package Store in Aurora, selling in 1995. He was still presently working at the store part-time. He was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Pine Grove Country Club, and the Aurora Sanitary Board. Jack was an avid Packer fan and enjoy his grandchildren, rarely missing any of their activities and events. Survivors include his wife Sandy, two daughters Kelly (Don) Martin of Quinnesec, and Kerry Thom of Aurora, five grandchildren Jackie Jo, Darin, Kelsy, Brad and Amber, and a very very special family member and friend Charles "Chass" Peterson of Aurora. Besides his parents, Jack was preceded in death by a sister Mary Lou Burby. Visitation will be Saturday, June 25, 2005, from 9 – 11a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home in Iron Mountain. Funeral services will be at 11:00a.m. Saturday, at Jacobs Funeral Home. Father Charles Piper will officiate. Burial will be in Aurora Cemetery.
