Florence-Thomas C. Lindow, 81, of Florence, Wis., passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at his home. He was born November 1, 1935 in Florence, son of the late Arthur and Grace (Watson) Lindow. Thomas graduated Florence High School, Class of 1953. Upon graduation, he proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Thomas married Helen Johnson in 1962. He worked as a machinist for Khoury's, retiring in 1998. Thomas enjoyed mechanics and working around the homestead. Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Helen Lindow; two sons, David Lindow and Thomas Jr. (Mary) Lindow; one daughter, Marian (Max) Sullivan, all of Florence; four grandchildren, Katie, Thomas III, Chrissy and Max, and by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Thomas, was preceded in death by one brother, Arthur "Bob" Lindow and by three sisters, Carolyn McCain, Leona Staple and Mary Desens. Private family services will be held.
