Theresa Rose Bowman, 93, of Crystal Falls, Mich., died peacefully on December 21, 2010, at the Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls. She was born in Crystal Falls on June 11, 1917, the daughter of Cresente and Rose (Relievo) Rondon. Theresa was married to Thomas W. Bowman; he preceded her in death on July 3, 1959. Theresa was a graduate of Crystal Falls High School. She worked as a clerk at the JC Penney store and as a nurse at the Iron County Medical Care Facility and the Crystal Falls Community Hospital. Theresa was a lifelong member of the Guardian Angels Catholic Church and Guild, Crystal Falls, and a member of the Louis Bowman American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 87. Survivors include two daughters, Priscilla (Leonard) Romano, Treasure Island, Fla., Rozlyn (Paul) Feak, Channing, Mich.; three grandchildren, Matthew (Kelly) Jones, Lutz, Fla., Leslie (Kevin) Carver, Montrose, Minn., and Dana (Daryn) Meyers, Port Allen, La.; eight great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Avery, and Kyle Jones, Ryan, Grace, and Nathaniel Carver; Rachel and Jenna Meyers; two sisters, Ann Zanon, Caspian, Mich., Marion (Francis) Furno, Columbus, Ohio; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Wayne; daughter, Donna; brother, Angelo; and four sisters, Carmen, Caroline, Katherine, and Tressa. Friends may call at the Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home, Crystal Falls, on Friday, December 31, 2010, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Friday at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Crystal Falls.
