Taylor A. Dixon, 17, of Niagara, Wis., passed away Friday, July 9, 2010, at his home.
He was born on October 8, 1992, in Niagara, son of Dennis and Brenda (Davis) Dixon. He was a lifelong resident of Niagara and attended Niagara High School, most recently completing 11th grade.
Taylor was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church, Niagara. He enjoyed many hobbies including: soccer, basketball, watching football, four wheeling, listening to Johnny Cash, and especially spending time with his cat, Ginger Snap. Taylor enjoyed watching the Military Channel, the History Channel, and especially the show, How It's Made. He most recently started to enjoy the music his parents listened to and was a member of a local band.
Taylor will be forever remembered and sadly missed by his many friends and loving family.
He is survived by his loving parents, Dennis and Brenda Dixon, Niagara; one brother, Zach, at home; one sister, Amber, Menominee, Mich.; maternal grandmother, Janet Davis, Niagara; three aunts, Sandy Raymond, Kingsford, Mich., Irene (Brian) Lapucki, Milwaukee, Wis., Carlene Baumler, Mesa, Ariz.; two uncles, Darrell (Wendy) Dixon, Suamico, Wis., Ricky Hood, Niagara; two close friends, Josh Moore, Chris Garvaglia; many cousins.
Taylor was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Grant and Irene Dixon; maternal grandfather, Alfred Davis; two uncles, John Davis, Dale Hood; and one aunt, Nancy Dawson.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 13, 2010, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Jacobs Funeral Home, Niagara Chapel. The memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home. Pastor Koychul Shin will officiate. Burial will be in Homestead-Aurora Cemetery, Aurora, Wis.
