Taimi C. Sartori, 86, of Crystal Falls passed away Saturday, August 30, 2014, at Northstar Health Services, Iron River, Mich. She was born June 11, 1928, in Crystal Falls, daughter of the late Charles and Helmi (Pajunen) Peltola. Taimi grew up in Crystal Falls and graduated from Crystal Falls High School, Class of 1946. She worked as a telephone operator for Michigan Bell Telephone Company from 1946 until 1956. In 1956 she spent her time raising her family. She enjoyed playing her accordion with her group "Accordianis" and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by two sons, Charles Sartori, Crystal Falls and James (Laura) Sartori, Crystal Falls; one sister-in-law, Perina Sartori, Crystal Falls; four grandchildren, Jeffrey (Sasha) Sartori, Charly Sartori, Tahoney (Tim) Anderson and Ashley (Keith) Metz; three great-grandsons; one niece, Liz Williams and one nephew, David Williams. Visitation will be Monday, September 8, 2014, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home, Crystal Falls. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, September 9, 2014, 10:00 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Crystal Falls. Rev. Cheryle Spicer will officiate.
