Crystal Falls- Susan Sterenberg, 73, of Crystal Falls, Mich., passed away Monday, April 14, 2025, at the Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls, Mich.

She was born March 8, 1952, in Lansing, Mich., daughter of the late Lloyd and Shirley Ohmen. Susan grew up in Lansing and was a graduate of Lansing School District, where she worked as a secretary in the 1970s. In 1982, she was united in marriage to Russell Sterenberg. He preceded her in death on January 1, 2023.

Susan enjoyed watching sports, socializing, and living in Florida during the winter.

Survivors include her stepdaughters, Staci and Amy; four grandchildren, Samantha, Cypress, Kris and Maxwell; three sisters, Sandy, Sheila and Sally; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Lakeview Bible Church, Crystal Falls, Mich., on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The service will follow at noon at the church.
